To bring China's metropolises to the digital age the government invests billions. Chongqing is an example of how a city of the future should look like. A smartcity tries
to increase the economic and social efficiency and at the same time make it more ecological, through a high-tech network. The installation focuses on the movement of people and use this to collect data. The image shows part of the Jiefangbei district and the "People`s Liberation Monument" from 1945. This monument was one of the highest structures of the city until 1992.
